It’s a monochrome kinda thing.
One last image from Ruby Beach. Not quite sure how I missed including it in the last round as it is one of my favorites.
The first round of images from the Hoh Rainforest is in the chute and ready to post on the ‘morrow.
The last of the images from Ruby Beach. Fun to take and I’ll have to get back there sooner rather than later. (Ruby Beach No. 12 is posted at full resolution if you click on it).
Next up: Hoh Rainforest
The second set of images from my recent trip to Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park.
I have no idea who kicked off their Vans and traipsed off along the beach, but good for them. It is one of my favorite images of the day.
One more series of images from the beach to come.
Last week saw a journey north-westward to Olympic National Park here in the Pacific Northwest. I’ve mentioned before how I have very little affinity for the landscape and I hope to rectify that. There’s very little excuse not to as I have any number of scenic options barred only by the willingness to get up and go. I choose the Olympic National Park over Mt. Rainier or another spot given the variety the park offers.
The climate has been very cooperative here recently which helped. I traveled light, carrying only the Fuji X10 & X30. Strictly speaking not a landscape-centric setup but I my goal was to learn how to “see” the landscape and for that coupled with the expected heat of the day lightweight was the way to go.
My itinerary was to include Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest. I’ve chosen to split the posts up a bit.
